The conference invited proposals for minisymposia at DSABNS 2027 — Dynamical Systems Applied to Biology and Natural Sciences, to be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 1 to 5 February 2027.
Minisymposia are intended to bring together researchers working on a focused topic related to the mathematical modelling, analysis, and simulation of biological and natural systems. They provide an opportunity to present recent developments, discuss emerging directions, and encourage interaction between researchers working on closely related problems.
Structure of a Minisymposium
Each minisymposium consists of four talks in total. The opening talk is 30 minutes long, including time for questions. It is followed by three additional talks, each lasting 20 minutes, including time for questions.
A minisymposium should be organised around a coherent scientific theme. The organiser is responsible for inviting the speakers, collecting the abstracts, and submitting the complete minisymposium proposal.
Registration Requirement
To be eligible for consideration as a minisymposium, all participants must be properly registered in accordance with the conference registration requirements.
Submission Process (Archived Information)
For Minisymposium Participants
Invited minisymposium participants were asked to submit their talk abstracts to their minisymposium organiser. Poster abstracts may still be submitted via the Registration & Submission form, subject to the relevant deadlines.
For Minisymposium Organisers
Minisymposium organisers were asked to use the official abstract template when preparing their proposals. The template remains available as an archived reference.
Organisers were responsible for collecting their participants’ abstracts and compiling them into a single document using the minisymposium template.
Submissions were required to include all relevant files — the TeX source, figures, and compiled document — in a single compressed .zip file.
The required name for the compressed abstract file was: MS_LastName_Name.zip, where LastName and Name refer to the minisymposium organiser.
Evaluation and Acceptance
The number of accepted minisymposia was limited. Proposals were evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on scientific quality, coherence, and relevance to the scope of the conference.
Where a minisymposium could not be included in the conference programme, its abstracts could be evaluated individually for contributed talks or posters.
