We invite proposals for minisymposia at DSABNS 2027 — Dynamical Systems Applied to Biology and Natural Sciences, to be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 1 to 5 February 2027.
Minisymposia are intended to bring together researchers working on a focused topic related to the mathematical modelling, analysis, and simulation of biological and natural systems. They provide an opportunity to present recent developments, discuss emerging directions, and encourage interaction between researchers working on closely related problems.
Structure of a Minisymposium
Each minisymposium consists of four talks in total. The opening talk is 30 minutes long, including time for questions. It is followed by three additional talks, each lasting 20 minutes, including time for questions.
A minisymposium should be organised around a coherent scientific theme. The organiser is responsible for inviting the speakers, collecting the abstracts, and submitting the complete minisymposium proposal.
Registration Requirement
To be eligible for consideration as a minisymposium, all participants must be properly registered in accordance with the conference registration requirements.
Submission Process
For Minisymposium Participants
If you have been invited to speak in a minisymposium, please submit the abstract of your talk directly to the organiser of your minisymposium. Participants may submit a poster abstract via the Registration/Submission form.
For Minisymposium Organisers
Minisymposium organisers should use the official minisymposium abstract template when preparing their submission. The minisymposium submission form and abstract template are available on the conference website.
Minisymposium organisers should collect the abstracts from all participants in their minisymposium and compile them into a single document using the provided minisymposium abstract template.
Please upload all relevant files — including the TeX source file, figures, and the compiled document — in a single compressed .zip file.
Please name the compressed abstract file as follows: MS_LastName_Name.zip, where LastName and Name refer to the minisymposium organiser.
Evaluation and Acceptance
Please note that the number of accepted minisymposia is limited. Minisymposium proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on their scientific quality, coherence, and relevance to the scope of the conference.
If a minisymposium cannot be included in the Conference Programme, the submitted abstracts will be evaluated individually by the Scientific Committee and may be scheduled as contributed talks or posters.
